Corax | Cyber Risk Profile UI Design
The main feature of Corax’s core product, the Cyber Risk Profile, allows users to view an individual company’s profile, which details various metrics around their cyber security posture. This includes metrics detailing software and infrastructure vulnerabilities, possible threat actors, targets, and the possible financial losses that could occur from a breach or business interruption attack.
The main design challenge in developing this feature has been presenting the full breadth of data in an easily understandable way. The complexity of the data and analytics is the product’s strength, but also can be its weakness if it is not given to the user in a digestible format. We have developed the idea of a modular, compartmentalized flow of the page, with all the metrics and details organized in smaller sections that can be expanded and collapsed as needed. This helps the user not be overwhelmed with too many details at once, and allows details to be accessed when they’re needed.
