Corax Logo | Refresh

For this logo refresh, we wanted to elevate the brand’s logotype to a more fresh, modern feel while also creating a logomark that could be used in various brand materials and product touch points.

We started by changing the font from the heavier serif to a lighter, more modern-feeling sans serif. We kept the font in the same typeface family (going from Stag Book to Stag Sans Light) in order to retain the same core personality of the previous logotype, while still giving it a bit of a face-lift. We also removed the pink ‘o’ because it had presented a lot of problems when placing the logos over various backgrounds and background colors.

For the logomark, we decided to use the concept of connected nodes (a design motif present in many places in our collateral) and combined it with the idea of a multi-faced die, which connects to the core principal of our probabilistic modeling product (the roll of a die = probability, right?). To top it off, we set the logomark in a fiery, eye-catching gradient that gives the overall logo a competitive and on-trend feel.
