Corax Website | Refresh

When we refreshed the Corax logo and brand, we needed to overhaul the existing marketing website to reflect the new look and messaging. Everything needed a refresh, from the graphics and color scheme down to the structure and flow of the pages. It was a huge undertaking, but ultimately left us with a successful, solid visual language that has since extended to the full product and brand experience.

I chose a fiery gradient (incorporating the brand’s established hot pink color) to define the main color scheme, because it is quite bold and demanding of attention. The main motif of the site revolves around the hero image, which portrays the Corax cyber analytics database on a global scale. The graphic highlights companies from around the globe and their cyber security posture (likelihood of breach, possible losses, etc). Playing off of the design of the datapoints in this visual, I designed the iconography and graphics in the rest of the layout to match, putting the icons in layered circles that extend outwards like the interconnected network portrayed in the hero image.

Another main feature of the site is the datasphere graphic, which is based on a real data visualization depicting the actual datapoints of the Corax database and their interconnectivity and inherited risk (whereas the globe graphic is just a representation of the database). I recreated the visual in vector and used it as a texture to denote the feeling of complexity and scope of Corax’s data and reach.
